Patek Philippe Gondolo 5024 Nos 2001

Patek Philippe Gondolo 5024 Nos 2001

The Gondolo collection is one of the newer additions to the Patek Philippe family of watches, first introduced in 1993. However, the inspiration for the line has deep roots. Back in the early 1900’s, at the dawn of the Art Deco movement, Patek Philippe was commissioned to create a unique pocket watch by the Brazilian Jewelers Gondolo & Labouriau.

The defining features of the Gondolo are its strong lines and geometric simplicity. Most watches in Patek Philippe’s offerings boast a more traditional round case.

Our example can also be considered to have a "sigma" dial. Sigma dials refer to the "Swiss" text at the bottom of the dial that is flanked by two sigma symbols. This indicates the hour markers and hands are made of gold. It comes in NOS condition with the original Patek Philippe leather strap and 18k yellow gold buckle and is including the original extract from Patek.
