Patek Philippe Gondolo “Pagoda” Ref. 1588 – Pink on Pink Art Deco (1946–47)

This rare 1940s Patek Philippe Gondolo, often called the “Pagoda”, is a striking example of mid-century elegance. Crafted in 18k rose gold, it features an untouched salmon Art Deco dial with subsidiary seconds — the coveted “pink on pink” configuration.

Square and rectangular Patek Philippe models were produced in far smaller numbers than round Calatravas, making this Ref. 1588 particularly exclusive — especially in rose gold with this rare dial tone. The proportions are refined, the condition outstanding, and the aesthetic unmistakably 1940s.
