Audemars Piguet 18k Onyx Diamond 1970s
Here we have one of the rarest (maybe 1/1) and the most interesting pieces from Audemars Piguet we have ever seen.
The 18k yellow gold case measuring 28 mm in diameter is in sharp condition and refined with a very unique 18k yellow gold beautifully finished bracelet. The icing on the cake is the rare deep black onyx dial with factory diamond setting.
Inside we find the ultra-thin Cal 2003 that AP first developed in conjunction with ebauche maker LeCoultre in 1946 and used for many years in their ultra-thin dress watches. 1.64 mm thick and 20.8 mm in diameter, it had the distinction of being the thinnest production movement in the industry.
